The PS4 we thought was coming. At least that was the rumor. That rumor said that at E3, there would be a PS4 coming. But since it is CES, the Sony CEO is able to give some answers to this rumor, like is there really going to be a PS4? Well, Sony’s CEO said that there is not actually.
The PlayStation series is said to have a 10-year life cycle through each console. This one is the PS3, and the Sony CEO said, ”always said a 10-year life cycle for PS3, and there is no reason to go away from that.” But what about Microsoft? They could release an Xbox 720, we really want that name to change, but they could announce that.
Sony is really confident in the PS3, and they are going to keep it going for a while longer apparently. But can’t we have a little bit of an overlap here? I mean, the next console has to come out sometime. But what are your thoughts on this? Do you think Sony should wait for the PS4, or announce one at E3 2012?
