Lenovo IdeaPad YogaAt CES 2012 we saw lots of different things but we saw the most ultrabooks. And one of the most interesting ones was the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga which is a Windows 8 tablet and an ultrabook. Then there is the Dell XPS 13, and HP has the HP Envy 14 Spectre. Most of these ultrabooks are over $1000 but we saw some cheaper ones from Acer as well which were very similar to most notebooks.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga was by far my favorite ultrabook from this year’s CES. I love that it essentially comes with its own stand and is a touchscreen. So many great gadgets were at CES, it’s hard to keep track of them all. My favorite was the Hopper from DISH even though it didn’t come with a touchscreen TV. It is DISH’s newest DVR and hasn’t been released yet but it will be worth the wait. It has more storage for recordings than any other DVR and all the DVR content is available in every room. I’m not sure when the Hopper or the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga will make it to my house but you can bet it will be as soon as possible. At least I work for DISH so will know exactly when the Hopper will be released. As for the IdeaPad, I’ll have to keep a close eye on the tech news.
