If you have a gaming console, my guess is that you are probably watching things like YouTube on it if you have an Xbox, or Blu-ray movies on your PS3. But if you are on your Nintendo, chances are you are gaming. This is due to the tight focus on gaming that Nintendo has, while everyone else is spreading out into the streaming world a bit more.
Well, this all is about to change. The Wii U is coming, and it is going to be more into the streaming off of YouTube, or playing movies online. We already have Hulu Plus and Netfix on there, and they are planned for the Wii U.
But recently, and during CES to keep it hidden, Nintendo was meeting with companies to get some media integration for the Wii U. This is hinting that the next generation of the Wii will be more into the streaming like all of the other consoles out now.
I think this is a great thing, I love the streaming industry, and think it is much better for those of us in the country. But what about you? Do you like the streaming industry? Or do you feel safer with your money getting a physical copy of something?
